Coronation Street officially reveals Jodie's dark plan for Daniel

 What's her endgame this time?

Jodie Ramsey's bond with Daniel Osbourne is officially not as innocent as he thinks in Coronation Street, as she's been unveiled as the person behind his anonymous trolling ordeal. Daniel, played by Rob Mallard, has been facing backlash online since learning the truth about how his partner Megan Walsh was grooming Will Driscoll.

In tonight's episode, he was with Jodie at the Viaduct Bistro as he scrolled through angry responses to previous messages from an account named 'Truthteller', showing her one in particular: "This person thinks I should be in prison with Megan."

She told him to ignore it, but he went on to doubt his previous theory that Megan herself was behind it all. Jodie then pointed his suspicions towards a nearby David Platt, saying he "keeps looking over here".

Sure enough, David — who has had more than his own fair share of problems with Jodie — was sat at the bar at the time, with his phone in his hand.

When Jodie went to the bathroom, Daniel immediately got a new message from 'Truthteller' and couldn't stop himself from confronting David.

Outraged, David denied any involvement. "I've got a sick daughter in hospital, I've got better things to be spending my time on!" he hit back.

Daniel wasn't buying it though, so David showed him what he was doing on his phone: watching a fun video of Lily. Daniel sheepishly backed down and apologised before excusing himself and leaving, with Jodie in tow.

Later, Daniel told Jodie he felt like an "idiot", and Jodie urged him to "stop trying to figure out who's behind this account", telling him: "It's clearly driving you a bit mad."

She offered to stick around a little longer rather than look for her own place, and he agreed. When he then went to rustle up some food, she was left alone — at which point viewers saw her take out her phone and secretly post another message as 'Truthteller'.

The message read: "How Daniel Osbourne is still a teacher, I don't know. He clearly has a dodgy history with his students, if his assault on Max Platt is anything to go by. Imagine having a vendetta against a kid when you're an adult, even worse a teacher."

Whatever her endgame is, it seems things will get worse for Daniel before they get better...

Coronation Street's Summer to plan escape amid Theo murder suspicions..

 Is she guilty of the crime?

Summer Spellman is dramatically betrayed by her closest allies on Coronation Street next week, when accusations fly and she's taken in for questioning by the police over Theo Silverton's murder!

Pressure mounts between Todd's nearest and dearest, and George blames Summer for Theo's demise after memories come flooding back to him. Things get even worse for the panicked Summer, as the evidence paints her as vengeful and full of hate.

At the same time, she receives an offer to return to the US to study at university, but knows that leaving won't look too good. Will she convince the police of her innocence – or flee overseas before she's charged?

"There are a number of things stacking up against Summer!" teases Harriet Bibby, who plays the prime suspect. "The police are on her tail and she isn’t thinking logically. She decides the best solution is to just run away, as she needs to get out of the pressure cooker!"

With the investigation circling the Street, Summer is on edge around Kit. But her innermost thoughts are about to make her look even guiltier after George finds her journal – which includes a startling description of her putting a gun to Theo's head!

Summer knows this looks really bad," explains Harriet. "At this point, everyone is suspicious of everyone. If your nearest and dearest are starting to question you, then that makes you look capable of murder."

Not only are George and Christina concerned about what they found, but Kit also spots a crucial piece of evidence in the background of Lisa's wedding photo. The discovery puts Summer at the scene of the crime, which prompts Lisa to pull her in for questioning.

Sitting in a police station being questioned over someone's murder is horrific," reveals Harriet. "Summer's in panic mode. Everyone who was linked to Theo is just trying to keep their head above water and stay out of suspicion's way."

Although Todd does a good job defending Summer to Lisa, George's doubts trigger fresh memories of the night in question, forcing him to confront Summer about what he remembers. But soon, she's turning the accusations back round to him.

As fingers are pointed and gossip spreads, Christina also finds herself caught in a big fib. She urges George to come clean about Summer's lies – but is Christina trying to distract from her own whereabouts that night?

As Summer panics that she'll be arrested for Theo’s murder, she packs a bag and makes plans to head back to America. Her future certainly looks bleak as the police build their case, but could Theo's murderer really be the person everyone least expected?

"Theo stole Billy away from Summer," Harriet reminds us. "He's also taken a part of Todd, because he's not the same guy as he once was. It boils down to the question: would Summer kill to protect what's left of her family?"

Coronation Street's Helen Flanagan shares another update on Rosie return chances

 Rosie was last seen on the cobbles in 2018.

Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has given another update on the chances of Rosie Webster making a return to the cobbles. Rosie was last seen in Weatherfield in 2018, but it's been 26 years since Helen first played the character.

Speaking to Liverpool Echo ahead of the opening of the stage play Memory of Water, Helen was asked if she'd like to make a return as Rosie.

"Honestly, if they want me to come back, I'd love to, but [show bosses] just haven't spoke to me," Helen said.

Everybody always asks me, 'When are you going back to Corrie?' And it's like, 'They haven't called me'. If you want to call me, that's great. But they haven't."

Last May, Helen said the soap "needs" Rosie, adding that she still gets on with everyone in the cast.

"I can't say too much, but it could be possible that I could go back," she told The Sun. "I get on with everyone there. There's nothing personal going on."

"It changed my life so much, and my loyalty is with them. I feel like Rosie's a part of me," she added. "They do need me. They do need Rosie."

In January, Helen revealed she had a surprising feud with former Coronation Street co-star Ryan Thomas while playing Rosie Webster alongside his character, Jason Grimshaw.

"Me and Ryan Thomas, who played Jason, weren’t on the best of terms in real life either – we used to clash something chronic, mainly because he would be dead grumpy in the mornings and never used to know his lines!" she said (via The Sun).

"I probably needed to lighten up a little bit, but he once told me outright that he didn’t like me and I told him to f**k off (mature of me)."

Coronation Street's Helen Flanagan criticises soap over Rosie Webster scenes

 "I don't think it would happen now."

Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has criticised the soap for how it handled some of her scenes as Rosie Webster from back in the day. The actor, born in 1990, joined the cast in 2000 and initially left in 2012, before returning for another stint across 2017 and 2018.

In the mid-2000s, when she was 16 years old, Rosie was involved in a grooming storyline, with teacher and serial killer John Stape taking advantage of her.

Speaking to The Mirror as her memoir Head & Heart releases, Flanagan criticised the soap at the time for giving her such sexualised scenes to perform, and reflected on how the industry has changed for the better.

Was it morally right that I was expected to parade about in my knickers like some mad nymphomaniac when I was still just a teenager?" she said.

"Alison King, who plays Carla Connor, once kicked off in the green room, saying how disgusting it was that they were sexualising me when I was a young girl. I didn't fully comprehend what she was talking about at the time. I do now. I get it."

"I had to do kissing and bedroom scenes with a man a lot older than me. Obviously the actor [Graeme Hawley] was lovely, but I don't think it would happen now," she continued.

"When you're 16 you don’t really know what's going on and I was just happy to get the big storylines. But I had scenes as Rosie which didn't always sit comfortably with me. I felt minging post-shoot.

"Everything has changed now, which I'm glad about. They wouldn't write it in quite the same way all these years later and since the Me Too movement... Back then you just got on with it."

After sharing her experience, the actor went on to explain that she has no issue with sexualised content, stating: "I post sexy pictures. I work for different lingerie brands. I enjoy that.

"I like to feel sexy. I like to feel empowered — and in control. That's the difference."

As well as her memoir, Flanagan is currently starring in the play The Memory of Water in Bolton.

Corriedale's mystery woman Jodie will be paying a visit to Weatherfield tomorrow

 Are they in danger?

Corriedale's mystery woman Jodie will be paying a visit to Weatherfield tomorrow, following her brief appearance in the crossover. As the newcomer makes a strange bee-line for the Platts, could Shona and her baby be in danger?

Tonight's dramatic crossover saw Jodie making her on-screen debut amid a horrifying crash on a remote road. The incident quickly escalated to a multi-vehicle pile-up, with a number of casualties from Weatherfield and Emmerdale.

As characters from both soaps united to help the injured, an approaching van suddenly came to a stop. Viewers then saw a terrified Jodie tied up in the back of the vehicle, which was being driven by returning Emmerdale character Graham Foster. She fled from the vehicle and was injured during her escape, but she was soon rescued by Kit Green.

Meanwhile, Shona found herself in a perilous situation while she and David were trapped in the fiery collision. If that wasn't scary enough, pregnant Shona feared she was going into early labour and was rushed to Hotten General Hospital - with the fate of her unborn baby left up in the air.

In Weatherfield, the Platts face more heartbreak when their consultant surgeon is held up ahead of the vital operation. While they anxiously await news, Jodie appears in Shona's room with a stolen teddy bear.

In the corridor, Jodie's concerning behaviour continues as she corners David with questions about baby Harper. She lurks eerily nearby while the new parents enjoy some time with their newborn daughter.

Later, David and Shona share photos of Harper with their family, but the moment is interrupted by the newcomer who bursts into the room. How will the Platts react? And why is Jodie stalking them?

Coronation Street star promises "life-changing" reveal ahead in Megan and Will story

 "They'll be completely blindsided."

Royal celebration Road star Pauline McLynn has guaranteed a "life-changing" uncover in Will Driscoll's preparing story. Watchers will know that Will is being prepared by predator Megan Walsh, with the storyline set to take a stunning turn this month.

In up and coming scenes, Megan, who is Will's previous games coach, will control the young person into resting with her for the to begin with time. Whereas Will's family, counting his grandma Maggie, played by McLynn, are as of now ignorant of what has been happening to Will, it looks as in spite of the fact that this might alter soon.

Asked how the Driscoll family matron has remained in the dull over what is going on with Will and Megan, McLynn said she has a daze spot when it comes to her grandson.

"Because she looks so innocent and young herself, there's no way anyone is seeing anything glaring, if it's there at all."

Speaking about what's to come when the secret is finally out, the former Father Ted actor said that the reveal will mark a turning point on the soap.

 Dee-Dee's exit story begins, Daniel infuriates Will and Becky attempts to silence Costello forever.

Royal celebration Road is lining up a tremendous week for Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Puncture), as he makes the choice to take off injurious and manipulative Theo Silverton (James Cartwright).

Meanwhile, Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) alarms amid a lodging conference, Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) tries to work out who Roy Cropper (David Neilson) is sending letters to, and Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) calls time on her relationship.

Elsewhere, Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) is disturbed with Daniel Osbourne (Victimize Mallard), and Becky Swain (Amy Cudden) pays DI Costello (Daon Broni) a visit in hospital...

Debbie is nervous ahead of her Women in Business speech, and Carl reassures her that it's fine to read from her notes.

As the event gets underway, he tells her that he needs her login details to pay the staff. She instructs him to look for her notebook, as she takes to the stage for her big talk. In a fluster, she forgets the password to her iPad and can't consult her notes.

Instead, she decides to give a heartfelt speech about being diagnosed with dementia, what it means for her future and how she isn't giving up without a fight.

Todd Grimshaw decides to leave Theo Silverton

Theo instructs Todd to lie low as his injuries could lead to people reaching the wrong conclusion. Summer is confused when he cancels on their plans, and Theo plays along with his excuse that he's gone to London.

Todd is becoming restless in the flat and peers out of the window, quickly hiding as Summer spots him. She tells Theo that they might be being burgled, and he's alarmed when Gary and Ben insist they go with him to check it out.

Dev has also heard, and calls by to make sure everything is OK. Todd emerges from the shower and covers, saying he's just arrived back from the capital and has hurt himself in during a drunken afternoon.

Later, Theo presents Todd with a fitness tracker and suggests he should carry on his training – setting a 10k goal. He shows a total lack of enthusiasm about the idea and his heart sinks.

Seeing a worn out Todd making his way back up the cobbles, Christina invites him in for a cuppa. Will he open up to her about his turmoil?

The next day, as Theo shows Todd the exercise bike he's bought him, Billy and Summer notice the cut on his face and aren't convinced by the claim that he hurt himself in London.

When Danielle arrives to announce that she's taking the kids to Tenerife for Christmas, Theo blames Todd for her decision. At the end of his tether, Todd says that he's leaving – and a furious Theo begins to slap himself in the face.

Shona Platt is suspicious of Roy Cropper's secret pen pal.

It's a busy day at the caff and Nina can't help but notice that her uncle Roy is becoming flustered. She reveals to Shona that he received a letter that morning that seemed to unnerve him.

Desperate to find out more, Shona rifles through his mail to get to the bottom of it. But how will he react when he discovers what she's done?

Becky Swain tries to kill DI Costello

Lisa tries to convince Carla that despite what she may think, she's the one she wants to be with. However, later that day, she meets with Becky to tell her that they may have traced the lad who attacked Costello, and that he goes by the name of Soap.

Becky reckon's she's never heard of him, but later meets up with Soap to retrieve both Costello's burner and personal phone. During their meet-up, police sirens begin to sound...

The next day, Lisa informs Becky that Costello is being brought out of his coma. She's furious and races over, grabbing a syringe with the intent of killing him before he can regain consciousness. However, Lisa is fast approaching...

Meanwhile, Kit tells Carla that he knows Becky was involved in Costello's attack, but without any evidence, he can't pursue it any further.

With him still in a bad way, Becky sits by his hospital bed and chats to his daughter, making a mental note of his iPad password. But when Kit locates Costello's phone, is her game up?

Will Driscoll is furious when Daniel Osbourne steals his girlfriend

Will's thrilled to hear that Megan has applied for a job at Weathy High, and he's not the only one with a smile on his face – when she reveals to Daniel that she's had an email confirming her interview, he coyly asks her out.

She accepts his offer, leaving Will furious. Liam then asks his new mate about his life in Hull, and whether he has a girlfriend. Will takes offence to his questioning, and Maria has to jump in when she spots the lads in an altercation.

Later, in the Rovers, Megan receives a call to say she got the job. Daniel plants a kiss on her lips and it becomes passionate, as a heartbroken Will watches on.

Dee-Dee Bailey makes a big decision

Dee-Dee's exit story seems to kick off next week when she refuses to commit to Christmas plans with Ollie. He's saddened, and even more so when she decides to call time on their relationship.

Maggie offers to have a word with her, as she confides some big news in Alya.
