Hollyoaks spoilers: Diane Hutchinson struggles as the McQueens sabotage The Dog

Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher) was all ready for the big move to The Dog in Hollyoaks, but some interference from the McQueen clan left her feeling incredibly anxious.

The soap stalwart encouraged Tony (Nick Pickard) to accept Fergus Collins’ (Robert Beck) offer and become the new manager of the village’s famous pub.

However, she was unaware of the fact that they’d be moving into the flat above the boozer, and since making said discovery, she has been incredibly worried.

The McQueens, meanwhile, were horrified at the prospect of losing their family pub, and thus they set about sabotaging Diane and Tony’s fresh start, in the hopes of making them reconsider taking over.

First it was the stink bombs in the bathrooms, then it was a mix up with the beer order, and finally, the clan stole The Dog’s sign.

Tony, however, realised what they were up to, and threatened to kick them out of the flat which he’d kindly agreed to let them stay in.

Theresa (Jorgie Porter) and Cher (Bethannie Hare) therefore backed down.

But Nana (Diane Langton) did not! As Diane prepared to give things another go at the pub, the electricity cut out – courtesy of Nana.
