Neighbours reveals Hendrix and Mackenzie's wedding outcome

Neighbours has confirmed that Hendrix Greyson and Mackenzie Hargreaves will tie the knot in a heartwarming ceremony on UK screens next week.

Hendrix recently popped the question to Mackenzie during their emotional trip to Sydney, realising that their relationship is the most important thing in his life.

Although Mackenzie has since vowed to have a long engagement, this week's episodes on Channel 5 see the plans change.

Hendrix and Mackenzie end up plotting a fast-tracked wedding, with their loved ones all rallying around to make it happen.

Although the last-minute scramble is stressful, the couple are determined to make it work and they look forward to their future together.

Next week, Hendrix and Mackenzie are left disappointed when the planned venue falls through on the eve of the ceremony.

The pair are forced to find something new, but tension between their respective fathers Pierce and Grant threatens to overshadow the occasion.

Fortunately, Hendrix and Mackenzie manage to salvage their plans and they end up enjoying a fairytale wedding.

Along with Pierce and Grant, guests include Hendrix's mum Lisa and sister Alana.

At the reception, Hendrix and Mackenzie entertain their guests with their first dance.

Grant also sweeps in for the father-daughter dance with Mackenzie.

To make things even sweeter, Pierce and Grant regret being so hostile towards each other in the build-up to the wedding.

The sheepish parents get through the ceremony without any drama and make apologies at the reception, with all bad feeling left firmly in the past.

The day afterwards, Hendrix and Mackenzie begin their married life with a "homey-moon" – an at-home celebration that Chloe Brennan and Kiri Durant have treated them to.

Pierce also reveals that his wedding gift is a fully paid-for apartment, giving Hendrix and Mackenzie the best possible start for their future.
