Home and Away's Dean Thompson accused of murder in shock new scenes

 But will the truth come out?

The residents of Summer Bay are stunned when the beach is turned into a crime scene once again in Home and Away, and one resident finds themselves up on a murder charge.

The unlucky person in question is Dean Thompson, who soon realises how much trouble he is facing if he cannot clear his name.

The troublesome PK is the victim, and while Cash and Rose look into what happened and conclude PK was murdered elsewhere and dumped on the beach, suspicions start to arise about whether Dean was involved.

Mac is the first to be alarmed that her brother could be a killer as she recalls him saying he had a plan to deal with PK – and her concerns are now seemingly valid.

Dean is soon hauled in for questioning, and the evidence is clearly starting to be stacked against him. Firstly, despite having an alibi from Ziggy, the police are unsure how valid that is as Ziggy seems very on edge when she is spoken to.

And a look at Dean's hands reveals bruising on his knuckles, another incriminating detail working against him.

Multiple blunt force trauma to the head with a wrench is later revealed to be the cause of PK's grisly demise, and it is not long after that reveal that Dean's alibi crumbles after it is worked out that he and Ziggy could not have been together at the time.

Confident that they are now onto something, the police soon arrive to search Ziggy's home, and while they find nothing inside, that is not the case with Ziggy's car, as when they open it, the bloody wrench is there waiting for them.

Dean is forced to admit to the police that he did indeed attack PK but that he was very much alive when he last saw him, and he has no idea how the wrench got in the car.

But with the evidence now looking damning, Dean will have his work cut out when it comes to getting anybody to believe him.
