Home and Away's Tane Parata and Felicity Newman face new wedding drama

Home and Away couple Tane Parata and Felicity Newman find themselves at odds over their wedding on UK screens next week.

The pair's big day descended into disaster recently when Felicity was involved in a huge crash in her wedding car while on the way to the ceremony.

In next week's scenes on Channel 5, Felicity worries when Tane mentions that he'd like to reschedule a date for the wedding.

Tane thinks it's the right time now that maid of honour Eden Fowler is on the road to recovery following her involvement in the crash.

Tane doesn't realise that Felicity is nowhere near ready to return to wedding planning, as she's still tormented by traumatic memories.

Felicity's loved ones are unaware that she's secretly drinking heavily in response to her emotional pain, even smuggling bottles of alcohol from work.

As Felicity continues to look for an escape, she throws a spontaneous party at the Parata house.

Felicity is joined by her brother Cash, who's struggling with his own problems in the fallout from the crash.

Tane is shocked when he arrives home to discover the party. Felicity encourages him to get in the party mood, while Cash defends his sister and points out that she deserves a chance to blow off some steam.

The truth soon dawns on Tane as he realises that Felicity has thrown the party to avoid all talk of the wedding.

Before long, Tane's worst fears are realised as Felicity drunkenly informs him that she doesn't want to get married.

Felicity explains her reasoning, confirming that she's still struggling with bad memories from the crash. Will she allow Tane to support her?

Home and Away airs these scenes on Wednesday, March 29 and Thursday, March 30 at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
