Former Home and Away star Sam Frost teases return to acting

"Definitely keen to get back out there soon-ish."

Former Home and Away star Sam Frost has teased the possibility of returning to acting.

The actress debuted as Jasmine Delaney on the Australian soap in 2017 before eventually departing from the show last year, but has hinted that the role wouldn’t be her last during an Instagram Live Q+A earlier this week.

"Definitely keen to get back out there soon-ish," she said when asked if she would continue to perform (via NZ News). "I absolutely love acting."

Frost was also asked if she would ever consider returning to the soap, with the actress stating: "Maybe one day."

After leaving Home and Away, Frost announced that she was expecting a baby with partner Jordie Hansen, with the actress giving birth to Teddy in March.

"When asked what the most difficult part about being a new mum was? I replied. Breastfeeding," Frost said recently of her experience with motherhood. "I found it really difficult emotionally, mentally and physically. As it turns out, I’m far from alone.

"I was inundated with messages from women thanking me for sharing. Women who are, or had been, in a similar situation, who felt like failures. Women who have been judged and criticised. Two women shared that their inability to breastfeed caused post-natal depression.

"No-one should be made to feel alone, especially in such a delicate period of your life," she continued. "Teddy is a very happy and healthy little boy. He is a little chunky monkey, who has a smile so big and bright.

"Every pregnancy is different, every birth is different, every baby is different. Do whatever works for you, and your family. And most importantly, please remember.. you are never alone," she concluded.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
