Hollyoaks' Zoe Anderson has pregnancy secret discovered

 Who has found out?

Zoe Anderson's pregnancy secret has been discovered in Hollyoaks.

The Dee Valley police officer discovered she was expecting a child earlier this week, though she's had complex feelings about the life-changing news because she recently split from boyfriend Sam Chen-Williams.

Zoe called off her romantic partnership with Sam when his feelings clouded his professional judgment and recently got them into some scrapes with local crime boss Warren Fox. Sam has continued to obsessively beg Zoe to get back with him.

The personal life turned volatile again in Hollyoaks' first-look episode on Wednesday (May 31) when Sam learned that Zoe had reported him to their police department superiors for professional misconduct.

Because of his obsession, Sam started to see that potentially losing his job could allow him to devote himself fully to spending time with Zoe even though she'd make it clear she didn't want contact with him.

Later, Sam desperately pleaded with Zoe to reconcile with him, even though she was insistent that their relationship is over.

Sam offered to quit his job with the police in order to be with Zoe — an offer she outright rejected. As Sam begged her to give him "one last" chance, Zoe tried to make him understand that it's over.

"There's nothing to lose anymore, Sam," Zoe tried to make him understand. "We're done, just leave it."

As Zoe walked off, she accidentally bumped into Ethan and the contents of her purse fell out. Ethan helped Zoe to pick up the contents and realised she had a positive pregnancy test in her bag.

Zoe then begged Ethan: "You can't tell [Sam]. Please!"

Sam's growing obsession with Zoe will culminate in disturbing scenes airing later this week when he has a violent confrontation with uncle Ethan.

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
