Former Home and Away star Sam Frost puts brakes on wedding plans

 "We will eventually."

Former Home and Away star Sam Frost has explained why she's putting the pause on her wedding plans with fiancé Jordie Hansen.

The actress and reality TV personality played Jasmine Delaney between 2017 and 2021 after appearing on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. In March, she and Hansen welcomed a son named Teddy.

Appearing on Australia's The Morning Show, Frost explained that adjusting to being new parents was the reason for hitting the brakes on her wedding plans.

"To be honest, I'm the one that's, like, putting the brakes on it," she said. "It's just so expensive, and it's just hard to justify spending so much money because we want to buy a house, and now we've got a baby."

Frost added: "We will [get married] eventually. But I think at the moment, our focus is just little Teddy."

The couple called Teddy "the most chilled, smiling, happy baby", and Frost admitted that she's surprised about how much energy she has despite carrying out all the usual mum duties.

"I was like, 'This is amazing'," Frost said. "I honestly cannot believe how good he is."

Previously, Frost spoke about finding breastfeeding difficult "emotionally, mentally and physically".

"As it turns out, I'm far from alone," she said at the time. "I was inundated with messages from women thanking me for sharing."

Since leaving the Aussie soap, Frost and Hansen took over Hansen's family business. Frost has also teased that she still loves acting and would consider a return to the soap.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
