Coronation Street's Lauren Bolton to be reported missing after mysterious disappearance

 Bobby's concerns grow.

Coronation Street's Lauren Bolton is set to be reported missing following her mysterious disappearance.

New scenes airing tomorrow (February 21) will see Lauren disappear from the cobbles, which come after Max Turner and Sabrina Adetiba uncover her secret of creating videos on adult website O-Vidz due to financial worries, while Bobby also reveals his knowledge.

Amid her money issues, Lauren also suggests to Bethany that she could write up a magazine story on her far-right brainwashing to make some cash, though Lauren's troubles worsen when she learns that she has been sacked from the café by Roy.

After thanking him when he drops her wages off, Lauren tells Roy that she plans to move away from Weatherfield. Bobby later arrives at Lauren's only to discover that she is not home, and his worries increase after finding no sign of her.

In follow-on scenes airing next week, Bobby once again heads to Lauren's flat, and sees that there's still no answer. He then decides to report Lauren as missing to the police, as Craig promises to make enquiries.

Given the mystery over Lauren's boyfriend, as well as her previous connection to her father's far-right activities, is something sinister going on?

Star Cait Fitton previously spoke about her character's exit plans, saying: "She's been through that much heartache and that much trauma on the street, that there's not really anything to make her stay.

"I think moving away from Weatherfield and making a fresh start is something that she does think about a lot – whether she'll go through with it, I don't know."

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
