Neighbours Spoilers for Next Week – 26th to 29th February

Neighbours returns to the subject of JJ’s paternity next week, and we get to meet Felix, Andrew’s brother.

In other scenes, Nicolette becomes agitated about Aaron’s return, Karl bids adieu, and Slade and his friends carry on wreaking mischief across Erinsborough.

Is JJ the father of Andrew’s brother?
Andrew (Lloyd Will) was taken aback to receive an enigmatic letter from Warrinor Prison at the end of this week. It turns out that his brother Felix (James Beaufort) is a prisoner there, but he hopes to see the Rodwells on Ramsay Street as he is soon up for parole.

Given his position as a police officer, Andrew feels it’s not a good look for a convicted criminal to move in with them. However, Wendy (Candice Leask) reassures him that Felix was simply caught up in the robberies, suggesting he wasn’t at fault.

But as we eventually discover from Phillipa’s diaries, what Andrew read late last year, there’s more serious issue at hand.

Andrew found out that his brother had intended to give Phillipa his sperm years prior; Phillipa then gave the sperm to Cara Varga-Murphy (Sara West). He might therefore be Riley Bryant’s (JJ) father!

When Andrew visits his brother in prison, they enjoy catching up. When Andrew finally brings up the subject of the sperm donation, Felix reassures him that he never followed through on his plan and hasn’t given any sperm to anyone.

Andrew consents to assist his brother with his parole application since he is certain that his brother is being truthful. He also consents to let him reside with the family on Ramsay Street in the event that his application is accepted, having had Sadie’s (Emerald Chan) approval.

However, given that March teasers indicate that Felix is spending an increasing amount of time with JJ, was his “donation” real?

2) Karl leaves.
Last week, Jackie Woodburne’s character, Karl (Alan Fletcher), informed Melanie (Lucinda Cowden) that he would soon be travelling to Sydney to see Susan. Susan has been living in the city ever since Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) and Elly (Jodi Gordon) departed on their honeymoon in Europe.

Susan learned from the plot that Elly’s mother Liz had abandoned Elly’s daughter Aster (Amelia Gavin) for hours on end so that she could hang out with her new lover.

Elly decided not to invite her mother to the wedding, and Susan decided to take Aster with her to Sydney while the newlyweds went on a long honeymoon to Europe.

Due to the change, Jackie Woodburne was able to take a break from the show. It’s Alan Fletcher’s time now, and he will not be appearing on the show for a few weeks.

In the upcoming episodes, Karl informs Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) and Toadie (Ryan Moloney) that he will be travelling to Sydney the next morning to visit Susan. He then instructs Toadie to contact him if he has any questions.

For the following few weeks, Karl is anticipated to be off-screen before he and Susan return to Erinsborough.

3) Does Sadie start seeing Byron?
Sadie admits to her best friends Mackenzie (Georgie Stone) and Holly (Lucinda Armstrong Hall) in next week’s episode of Neighbours that she has never had sex.

The two are shocked because they think Sadie only talks about sex. However, Sadie clarifies that although she is ready for a sexual life, she is just waiting for the perfect man to come along. The fact that man doesn’t seem to exist is the sole issue.

Holly quickly persuades her that maybe she should find Mr. Right Now to steal her virginity and that maybe it’s not worth waiting for Mr. Right.

Along with Byron (Xavier Molyneux) and Haz (Shiv Palekar), the three go out for a night on the town; however, while Haz and Mackenzie spend the evening making out against the wall, the three singletons return to Ramsay Street empty-handed.

The next day, while they recover from their hangovers, Holly watches how loving Byron is with Sadie and has an idea: maybe Byron, who was once an escort and is kind, kind, and experienced, might be the ideal man to take Sadie’s V-plates.

Sadie accepts and starts figuring out how to ask Byron out. As she seeks to improve her makeup artistry, she recognises an opportunity, and the two become closer when Sadie gives Byron a makeover in No. 26’s kitchen.

But when the chips are down, she can’t bring herself to pose the issue since she knows that by doing so, she could ruin a great friendship in the sake of her desire for a sexual relationship.

However, the narrative of Neighbours is far from over. Will Sadie have the guts to approach Byron for assistance?

4) Aaron confronts Nicolette once more.
In this week’s episode, Aaron ran away from home because his sadness over the passing of his spouse David (Takaya Honda) became intolerable.

His refusal to interact with Isla (Hana Abe-Tucker) has been frustrating Nicolette (Hannah Monson) to no end because he feels too emotionally unstable to be a good father to his daughter.

Aaron returns the following week, and to his dismay, Nicolette jumps on him right away, wanting to know where he’s been hiding out.

Even after Aaron apologises, she doesn’t change her mind and won’t accept Aaron’s sincere regret.

Nicolette finally starts to open up when Aaron brings up the occasion she flew to Canberra while pregnant, understanding that everyone may act egotistical under pressure.

Can they finally learn to support one another and get over their mutual grief?

5) The suffering of Toadie and Terese doesn’t end
Melanie has made it clear that she wants Toadie back, and he revealed this to his wife Terese this past week.

And if that wasn’t awful enough, Terese was afraid that Toadie felt the same way about his ex-wife based on his response.

Terese won’t return home or take Toadie’s calls the following week. When she eventually makes it back to No. 22, she’s icy and won’t accept his excuses, telling Toadie how miserable he would feel if she was having heart-to-heart talks with Paul (and she wouldn’t do anything like that!).

Terese still can’t get Melanie and Paul out of her head, even though Toadie tries his hardest to make amends throughout the course of the week, including getting her coffee before her crucial meeting with “The Department” at Erinsborough Highrene Rising.

Terese is too preoccupied to think properly when Lana from the Education Department visits the building site, and Jane will have a difficult time keeping the meeting together.

Will Terese’s lack of focus jeopardise her development, and is it too late for Toadie to make amends?

6) JJ asks Slade (Charlie Di Stefano) for protection. For the previous few weeks, Slade and his “gang” have been wreaking minor mayhem in Erinsborough, and the worst is still to come.

Ever since he saw Slade and his buddies deface the Drinks Divas truck on Ramsay Street, JJ has been afraid for his safety and told Andrew that the gang was to blame.

The following week, when Slade visits Erinsborough High and runs into JJ, he makes it plain that JJ must keep an eye on him.

Later, on the fringes of the complex, JJ and Dex (Marley Williams) run across Slade. Dex runs away, leaving his brother to take the brunt of Slade’s rage as he punches him and knocks him down.

Later on, JJ keeps the attack to himself, covering up his humiliation, but the event makes him afraid. He sees an opening when he is at Harold’s and, in an attempt to defend himself, he takes a chef’s knife that Haz (Shiv Palekar) left on the counter.

Later, he is compelled to conceal the knife within the school by hiding it between the wall and the lockers, but it won’t take long for Curtis (Nathan Borg) to discover it and place the institution under lockdown.

While the police take immediate action, everyone’s attention is focused on Dex, JJ, and Nell (Ayisha Salem-Towner), who were the only Erinsborough High students at the café at the time, especially after Slade provides an alibi and Andrew finds out that the knife was taken from Harold’s during lunchtime rush hour.

After a two-week ban, JJ eventually admits that he was the one who took the knife. Although he acknowledges that Slade assaulted him, he is shocked to hear Andrew lament that Slade is probably going to get away with it because no one was present to see the punch.

Will JJ be in further danger as his battle with Slade intensifies?

7) Chelsea keeps going after the gold.
Chelsea (Viva Bianca) continues to take advantage of Paul’s unresolved sadness by using her newfound authority as Lassiters’ interim boss.

She plans to have a bottle of her distinctive perfume in each room, so she places a large order for it. Paul is taken aback, but he lacks the courage to dispute her, particularly considering how well she has been taking care of him lately.

Chelsea gets an idea when she hears Toadie discussing David’s will. Having complete access to Paul’s office, she searches for Paul’s own will in an effort to ascertain the precise contents.

Chelsea is visibly startled when Krista (Majella Davis), who is still breathing over her shoulder, enters while she is prying.

Later, enraged that Chelsea is exploiting Paul’s sorrow to further her cosmetics company, Terese confronts Chelsea about it.

Chelsea tells Terese that she is no longer able to influence Paul’s life or the operations of the hotel before launching a retaliatory action that would undoubtedly break Terese’s heart.
