Home and Away's Debra Lawrance and Dennis Coard celebrate their 32nd wedding anniversary

Former Home and Away stars Debra Lawrance and Dennis Coard have celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary.
Debra, 67, marked the occasion by sharing some throwback photographs of herself and her husband, one being from their wedding day.
Alongside the sweet pictures, she penned a lengthy tribute dedicated to the day that kicked off the rest of their lives.
"Our 8th wedding anniversary (32 years if you’re after detail😂)," joking about the fact that they got married in a leap year.
Debra further revealed that her wedding dress was originally the dress her mother wore on her wedding day in 1946.
"We are often asked the secret to such a long time together and all I can think of is that we pilot through each day together, go to sleep, and pilot through the next one - and we’ve done this over and over again and here we are,” she wrote.
“We appreciate and respect that we are individuals; we support each others wins and losses; we have shared the grief of the loss of parents, siblings, dear friends and the wee bubbas that were not meant to be.”
Referencing the second photo in the gallery, Debra revealed that the two other woman were help best friends “Annie (now an angel in heaven) and Judy, who made [her] party frock which… still fits!!”
“We have raised two extraordinary kids whom we love beyond measure,” she continued.
Dennis and Debra’s children are now well past the age of needing to be taken care of. Grace, their eldest, is now 32, and their son, William, is 25.
“We are deeply grateful for our home and the beauty of the quiet bush that surrounds us,” Debra continued.
“We are partners in every sense of the word - sometimes extremely disputatious😳, but all is always forgiven. (it helps hugely that we also still fancy the pants off each other - sorry kids 🤣) 💕💕💕.”
Back in March 2022, Debra had also shared a lovely tribute to her husband for their milestone wedding anniversary, celebrating 30th years together.
"30 years ago today (on February 29th) this beautiful man and I were married in Avalon," she began.
"This is us grabbing a delicious celebratory dinner at @theeuropeanmelbourne between Part One and Part Two of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in 2020 - our official (7th 😉) anniversary date. My gratitude knows no bounds."
"Dennis is the kindest, most generous person I know... a truly wonderful father... add hardworking, supportive, hilariously funny and extremely attractive and you start to see why we've managed to travel through the last 3 decades together."
The couple met on the set of Home and Away. Debra played Pippa Ross from 1990 to 1998 and Dennis was later cast as Michael Ross, Pippa's second husband.
Debra and Dennis have previously spoken to our sister publication Woman's Day where they revealed how the soap changed their lives.
"Home And Away gave me my life," Debra told the publication.
"If I didn't have a steady job, I don't think I would have had children. I met Dennis, we have two great children, and he's a brilliant father.
"I met Dennis at exactly the time my ovaries were yelling, 'Hello!'"
