Home and Away's Roo and John to discover anonymous donor truth

 How will they both react?

Home and Away's Roo Stewart and John Palmer are finally set to discover who anonymously donated $30,000 to the Surf Club.

The Club received the generous donation after Simon Henderson retracted his sponsorship, though Roo and John have been suspicious about where it came from and its legitimacy ever since.

The pair even went as far as hiring Cash to figure out the donation's source, but to no avail.

In scenes airing in the UK next week, it becomes apparent that Cash – who recently quit the police – is finding his new job in security boring.

After some advice from Felicity, he phones the agency to ask for more challenging work but ends up quitting when he's told there's nothing else available for him.

Cash has barely started looking for a new job when Alf pops by to thank him for throwing Roo and John off the scent – confirming that Alf was actually the anonymous donor.

Later on, Roo and John inform Alf that they still haven't managed to track down the donor.

When it becomes clear that they aren't willing to let go their obsession with finding the donor, Alf finally confesses.

Alf tells Roo and John he doesn't want to hear anything else about it, but how will they react to his revelation?

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5, with repeat screenings at 6pm on 5STAR and first look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.
