‘To the little one we never thought we’d meet, we can’t wait to hold you in our arms. You were worth every tear, every setback, and every prayer. To all the people who supported us through the darkest days, thank you. I know I wouldn’t have made it to this point without the strength of my family and friends who managed to hold me up when I was falling apart.

She added: ‘It is also incredibly important for me to recognise that although this is the best news in the world for Thomas and I, my heart aches for anyone that sees this and feels pain. It was so hard for me to write this because it feels like I’m caught between two worlds.

‘It’s not an easy road and I wouldn’t wish it upon my worst enemy. It’s one hell of an emotional roller coaster. Stay strong, keep fighting, but most importantly don’t forget to be kind to yourself.’

Olympia, best known for her role as Paige Smith in Australian soap Neighbours, opened up about miscarrying twins in an emotional message last year.

‘Thomas and I miscarried twins, right in the middle of Covid, which as you can imagine was excruciatingly painful’, she said in a post online.

Since then, we haven’t been able to conceive. That would be two years of really trying. For any woman or couple trying to get pregnant, there is no worse pain than every month looking down at that negative pregnancy test. Your heart breaks in two.’

After also speaking about how she currently doesn’t want to go down the IVF route, due to the increase in hormones, she concluded: ‘I want babies and I will do everything in my power to get them.’

Understandably, Olympia received many kind and wonderful comments on the post. Some offered support and sent their love, while others opened up about their experiences with conceiving.

Olympia and partner Thomas got married in Victoria in 2022. They met at a Spring Racing Carnival and, a year later, matched on the celebrity dating app Raya.
