Home and Away spoilers reveal how Rose is written out after three years

 Rose shares some heartfelt goodbyes.

Home and Away has confirmed that Rose Delaney's exit from Summer Bay will air on UK screens next week.

It was confirmed back in March that Kirsty Marillier had left the soap after three years in the role of Rose as her final scenes aired in Australian-paced episodes.

UK viewers will now see her exit in scenes set to air on Tuesday 13 May on Channel 5, which will begin with Kirby and Bree treating Rose to lunch for her last day as a police officer in Summer Bay, after she recently landed a new job as a detective in the city.

Rose also shares some heartfelt final moments with her ex-boyfriend Mali Hudson, who shows up to the station and convinces her take a quick break.

The pair walk along the beach together as Mali tells Rose that he’s learnt a lot since they dated.

Rose tries to get Mali to admit that he's in love with Abigail but he remains coy, joking that he doesn't give information to cops. After some more reflection on their past, they wish each other good luck and part ways.

Later that night, Rose has another heartfelt goodbye as she completes her handover to Cash, who is stepping into her role at Yabbie Creek police station.

As Rose prepares to drive away from Summer Bay to start her new life in the city, Irene, Bree, Kirby and Remi show up with some sweet treats before waving her off.

Marillier's departure as Rose was first rumoured in September, when fans realised that she'd signed up for two major theatre jobs for this year.

The actor starred in the play Picnic at Hanging Rock between February and April, and will also be starring in another play titled Destiny — which she wrote — across August and September.
