Home and Away lines up new Eden mystery after joyous Cash engagement

Home and Away has lined up a new mystery for Eden Fowler following her recent engagement to Cash Newman.

This week, fan favourite couple Cash and Eden will take a huge step towards their future together as Cash finally pops the question.

When the policeman takes Eden on a surprise trip to his foster father's house, it soon becomes clear that a grand gesture is on the cards. While catching up with Gary, the pair are joined by Eden's mum Deb, and her siblings Abigail and Levi.

Mackenzie Booth, Remi Carter and Kirby Aramoana also make an appearance, and the group witnesses Cash's emotional proposal, which Eden excitedly accepts.

In next week's scenes, the newly engaged couple arrive home but are forced to delay their celebrations as Cash has to get to work. As they make the most of their time together, they are interrupted by John Palmer, who is eager to land the role of celebrant at their wedding.

Before leaving for his shift, Cash throws Eden under the bus with John, putting the decision in her hands.

Later, Eden is unimpressed to receive a congratulatory text from her dad Jimmy, having cut him out of her life. She accuses Levi of giving their dad her number, but he assures her it wasn't him.

Furious Eden wonders who else it could have been, almost certain that Abigail wasn't responsible for the indiscretion. Instead, she turns her suspicions on Cash.

However, when Cash also denies any involvement in contacting Jimmy, Eden's concerns grow stronger. Who has been sharing her private news with her dad?

Meanwhile, John is still eager to hear the couple's decision about his offer. When they bump into him, it's Eden's turn to throw Cash to the wolves, as she leaves him to hear John's pitch.

Having noticed his genuine excitement, the pair agree to ask John to be their celebrant – but not without making him squirm first. When John comes over to make his case once again, Cash keeps him hanging before finally putting him out of his misery.
