Home and Away confirms two huge new Australian spoilers - with shock collapse and nasty attack
The drama intensifies...
Home and Away has confirmed two huge new storylines, with upcoming scenes including a shock collapse and nasty attack.
As per TV Week, the new scenes - which will air this week in Australia before coming to the UK in August - will involve Remi Carter and Theo Poulos as the pair undergo separate health scares in their respective storylines.
The first arc sees Remi continue in his efforts to complete his production work for Kirby Aramoana and Avalon Bracken's albums, with the latter recently offering him some pills in order to "get through" the job.
As the launch for Kirby's album takes place this week, Remi will begin to feel the side effects of the pills, and he ends up missing the occasion due to his condition. Justin Morgan eventually reaches through to Remi, though their conversation comes to an abrupt end.
After Remi hangs up the phone, he collapses in his bed due to the pills. Meanwhile at the launch, girlfriend Bree Cameron expresses her concerns over Remi to Eden Fowler and Dana Matheson, a conversation which Justin overhears.
Fearing for Remi's safety, Justin sends Sonny Baldwin to check in on the absent producer. After arriving at his house, Sonny is shocked to find an unconscious Remi on the floor alongside an empty sachet of drugs - will Remi be okay?
"Remi has such a small window of time to finish the album and the only way he thinks he can do that is with stimulants to keep him awake," said Adam Rowland, who plays Remi. "He sees this as a short-term solution [that] no one needs to know [about]."
While Remi is left unconscious, Theo will also be involved in another dramatic storyline following his recent run-in with the River Boys, who abducted Theo and Sonny ahead of the trial of gang leader Gage Reynolds.
As Theo recovers from his injuries, he attempts to move on with his life alongside new girlfriend Lacey Miller. The first move is to sell his car, with Theo reasoning that the bad memories attached to the vehicle will only hold him back.
"Theo has definitely been through a lot with the River Boys and I think it has made him stronger and only solidified his feelings for Lacey," explained Matt Evans, who has portrayed Theo since 2021.
The car quickly attracts interest, with one prospective buyer offering to pay in cash. Despite Lacey's suspicions, Theo arranges a meeting.
After the deal seemingly goes smoothly, disaster strikes as Theo is attacked while making his way to the bank. Knocked unconscious after a single punch, Theo's money is then stolen - who is the assailant?
