Home and Away newcomer hit with stern warning as death mystery intensifies
Is he getting warmer?
Home and Away's David Langham is used to issuing cautions in his role as a police sergeant. But as he continues to investigate his wife's mysterious death, David will find himself on the receiving end of a stern warning.
Worried that she was responsible for her mother's death, Jo Langham turned to hypnotherapy in a bid to recall the fatal car accident. During the session, Jo was able to visualise the number plate of a speeding grey Mercedes, leaving her confident that she didn't cause the crash.
Since then, David has been using the vague details as a lead to finding his wife's killer, and according to TV Week, upcoming episodes will see him make a breakthrough on the unofficial case.
This week, the cop's investigation points him in the direction of Craig Wendall, a local councillor whose car matches Jo's traumatic recollection.
David uncovers some damning evidence regarding Counsellor Craig Wendall. He was in the area at the time. His car, a grey Mercedes, matches the description, plus partial number plates," explained Jeremy Lindsay Taylor, who plays David.
"An initial interview with him shows David how slippery he is – he seems to know more than he's letting on."
After grilling the councillor about his involvement, David's investigation begins to fall flat. He is soon issued a warning from both Councillor Wendall's lawyer and his superiors, who tell him to stop digging.
Conflicted David considers pursuing his unauthorised case, while keeping his colleagues and his daughters in the dark. But Lacey is determined to get to the truth, by any means necessary.
Sneaking into the police station, Lacey collects information about her dad's findings. She takes pictures of the evidence and barrels forward with her own plan for justice. But could her risky move prove dangerous?
