 And more deaths could follow...

Hollyoaks has aired the second episode in its 30th anniversary week, and we've got our first officially confirmed death, while other lives are hanging in the balance. Who met their maker tonight? Read on to find out...

Following last night's cliffhanger, Jez Blake and Clare Devine's fight led to their plane crash landing in the village, narrowly missing the wedding guests and hitting the Love Boat.

Jack, Tom Cunningham, Peri Lomax, and Marie Fielding all turned up the village square, just as the cocktail bar blew up.

Peri pushed Tom out of the way of danger, but was unfortunately hit by the fallen debris.

"It's crushed me, Tom. I don't feel my legs," she said weakly, telling Tom not to try and move it because it could make things worse, and asked him to stay with her.

As Peri started to slip away, she told Tom to be the best dad to Steph and called for her mum. Leela, who had insisted everyone stay inside The Dog for their own safety, immediately went outside, managing to share one final moment with her daughter before she died.

"You'll always be my hero," Peri said with her last words.

Tony awoke to see the Merecedes and Marie both trapped and in need of immediate help. Marie said she felt like she was going into labour, so Tony went to help her, only to discover she had been faking her pregnancy with a fake bump.

Diane regained consciousness and helped Mercedes, but noticed that she was bleeding down below. Has she lost the child she was carrying?

Meanwhile, Jez also climbed out of the water, with a devilish smile on his face and an evil look in his eyes. He encountered Sienna, Cleo and Dodger, who were in the middle of a major argument over Cleo and Dodger's secret kiss.

A furious Sienna told Jez not to kill Dodger, as she wanted to do it herself.

As the other villagers exited the pub and swarmed around the scene, will Sienna really commit murder in front of everyone? And are the villagers safe from any further explosions now they're out in the open?
