Home and Away death aftermath revealed following major character's exit
Will they get justice?
Home and Away's Theo Poulos met his tragic fate last week when he became the victim of a fatal hit-and-run while saving his girlfriend Lacey Miller. His shocking death rocked the community and has left more than one local resident baying for blood.
In recent episodes, Lacey discovered that Councillor Craig Wendell had killed her mother in a car crash, and decided to blackmail him into admitting his guilt. However, the villain had other plans and tried to run her over at their meeting place.
After heroically pushing Lacey out of harm's way, Theo was hit by the vehicle, which then sped away. The couple shared a heartbreaking moment before Theo died from his injuries at the scene.
This week, Theo's loved ones fight to assign blame as they struggle with their tragic loss. According to TV Week, Leah Patterson immediately points the finger at Lacey for causing the death of her beloved nephew.
Furious that Lacey had involved Theo in her dangerous plan, Leah doesn't hold back on her anger. She insists that Lacey is responsible for the accident, but Theo's mum Cassandra isn't convinced.
After arriving in town, Cassandra is quickly caught up on the incident by Sergeant David Langham, and is shocked to learn about her son's dramatic life. Having entrusted Leah with his care, Cassandra only has one place to direct her anger.
As the grief-stricken pair butt heads, Cassandra warns a devastated Leah not to come to the funeral.
But while Leah might be staying away from Theo's final farewell, Cash Newman wonders if a missing Councillor Wendell will attend. He and David stake out the funeral and soon spot the killer nearby, before chasing him through the streets.
Wendell tries to hide in the bushes, and Cash swiftly pins him down by his waist. But Wendell puts up a fight and manages to free himself before running away again.
Will the cops be able to get justice for Theo, or has the councillor got away with his crimes again?
