Tane saves Jo's life
Unable to find a pulse on Jo, Tane uses all of his strength to lift the weight of the collapsing roof and carry her to safety.
Jo is taken to hospital and placed in ICU. David rushes to be by his daughter's side, but doctors reveal that she isn't out of the woods yet.
Sonny faces an uncertain future
A scan can't detect any injury to Sonny's spine, but as the week goes on and there's no improvement, both he and Dana are forced to face the possibility of him being permanently paralysed.
Mac is pregnant
Meanwhile, Remi makes his way home, consumed with survivor guilt over making it out of the train alive when others didn't. But events take a frightening turn when Remi collapses to the ground with a violent seizure.
Remi receives devastating news
He's sent for a scan, where doctors discover Remi has a tumour on the brain.
Levi is forced to break the news to Remi, who demands to be discharged and makes Levi promise not to tell anyone else about his condition.
Justin and Leah grow further apart
Later, Alf goes to see Justin and points out how much Leah is trying. However, the stress of discussing his ailing marriage causes Justin to suffer physical pain.
As traumatic memories from the crash resurface, Justin asks Alf not to discuss Leah with him again.
Abigail is suffering in silence
Abigail is still hiding the extent of the arm injury she sustained in the crash, but Mali suspects she's in more pain than she's letting on.
He confronts his girlfriend, who insists the doctors can't help her. How much longer will Abigail suffer in silence?
Mac and Levi celebrate their baby news
In that moment, all Levi's stress and tiredness is forgotten as he and Mac share a hug, excited about their future.
Harper reveals a hidden trauma
When Kerrie challenges Harper, she reminds her mum that Tane doesn't want her left alone with Archie and reveals she shares those feelings.
Harper points out she has every reason to distrust Kerrie, as she recalls a time where she abandoned her and Dana, leaving them to fend for themselves for a week.
Abigail faces her fears
Eventually, Abigail agrees to get an x-ray, which confirms that her arm is broken.
Levi reassures his sister, explaining he will get her proper help and ensure she doesn't get hooked on meds.
Lacey is suspicious of Eddie
Eddie is by Jo's side as she finally regains consciousness and he is overjoyed when she accepts his marriage proposal.
But something about Eddie's story still isn't adding up for Lacey, who decides to ask Tane for his version of events.
Kerrie badmouths Tane
She then heads to the Diner, where Marilyn is babysitting Archie. Kerrie opens up about the past and sympathetic Marilyn allows her to cuddle her grandson.
When Tane discovers what's going on, he's straight over to the Diner. Harper soon joins them and Kerrie plays the victim, making out Tane behaved aggressively towards her.
Eddie deceives Jo
Meanwhile, Lacey warns Jo that it was Tane – not Eddie – who carried her to safety off the train.
Jo summons Tane to the hospital, and is about to get his version of events when Eddie barges in. His guilty secret remains safe, but for how long?
Harper issues Kerrie an ultimatum
When Marilyn reveals Kerrie lied about Tane making threats, Harper defends her ex, leaving Kerrie to storm off in a huff.
Next morning, an apologetic Kerrie insists she wants to start afresh, but Harper warns the only way that will happen is if she calls a truce with Tane.
