EastEnders set to expose Vicki and Zack betrayal in huge wedding day episode..

 Will Vicki and Ross get wed?

EastEnders’ Vicki Fowler and Ross Marshall prepare to tie the knot next week. Even though the bride-to-be cheated on the groom with Zack, Vicki is sure Ross is the right man for her. But will her betrayal be exposed and ruin her happy ever after?

"Vicki is excited and wants to embrace this wedding," begins EastEnders star Alice Haig, who plays Vicki. "On the other hand, she’s still feeling incredibly uncertain and guilty about Zack. Vicki doesn’t understand what drove her to cheat – she wants so much to have the perfect day, but this dishonesty is hanging over her

It’s been a long road to the altar for the cursed couple, who were nearly torn apart when Ross’ evil son Joel brutally attacked Vicki. Joel is now banged up, but the issues it caused in his dad’s relationship drove Vicki into the arms of another man.

While Ross knows Vicki cheated on him and has forgiven her, he doesn’t realise it was with his best man! Vicki hopes her indiscretion is behind her and presses on with preparations for the ceremony.

While Vicki now regrets her dirty dalliance, Zack is not over it. As the big day looms, Zack’s desire for Vicki grows stronger and he tries to tempt her away from Ross once more…

"Zack clearly still has deep feelings for Vicki," says Alice. "He’s fighting for her, but Vicki insists she loves Ross and does not want to be with Zack – even if her behaviour has said otherwise!"

With just 24 hours to go, Vicki can’t wait to get hitched. Mum Michelle may not be around, but Vicki feels the support of her family and an honest chat with auntie Kathy convinces her she’s doing the right thing by choosing Ross.

That doesn’t deter jealous Zack from putting a spanner in the works, and after Vicki refuses his romantic gift of a bracelet, he bumps into love rival Ross and can’t resist some meddling…

"Zack doesn’t behave in the best way," teases Alice. "He starts to drip poison in Ross’ ear and tries to influence him by implying Vicki might have been unfaithful again. This really starts to make Ross paranoid."

Instead of looking forward to making an honest woman out of his fiancée, Ross is brooding on the morning of the wedding as Zack’s words continue to mess with his mind. Vicki makes it clear to lovelorn Zack she’s committed to Ross, unaware her other half is now the one having doubts…

Ross has a few conversations ahead of the wedding, and people respond in a slightly strange way," continues Alice. "It seems like the whole Square knows about Vicki’s affair at this point! As doubt starts to creep in for Ross, two and two start to make four."

"Vicki is late for the wedding, which doesn’t help matters," shares Alice. “When she finally arrives there’s an expectation everything is going to be revealed – either by Zack, or one of the many who know the truth.

"Then Ross has a realisation at the altar, and asks Vicki if Zack was the man she slept with! In that moment it’s a huge panic for Vicki, but you’ll have to wait and see how she responds…"
