EastEnders star reveals who Vicki should choose in huge wedding story..

 "It's a hard choice."

EastEnders' Vicki Fowler and Ross Marshall are set to tie the knot next week, but this is soap land, so of course there's going to be major drama.

Ross knows that Vicki was unfaithful and has forgiven her, although he has no idea that it's his best man Zack Hudson who Vicki was unfaithful with (another wrinkle to that is that they're kind of related).

Vicki is adamant that Ross is the main she wants, although Zack has completely fallen for her, and his actions lead to Ross outright asking Vicki at the altar if she slept with Zack.

While you'll have to wait and see how it all plays out, Alice Haig has her opinion on who Vicki should end up with,

I think that Ross is far and away the right person for her", she said. "Having said that, Joel is a real thorn in the side of their relationship and it's very difficult to see how they can properly move forward from that.

"Hopefully they can, we'll have to wait and see what happens at the wedding."

Also, Zack provided something for Vicki after the Joel thing that was invaluable", she added. "That is the realisation she really comes to on the day before the wedding, he helped her in ways Ross just couldn’t at the time because he was too connected to Joel.

"She owes both of them a lot in many ways, and it's a hard choice 'cos she does fancy Zack of course. Who wouldn't?"

Alice explained that it's been a lot of fun having people come up to her in public and give her their opinions on the storyline.

"On the train and in the shops wherever I go, you meet people who are like 'oh my god what the hell is she thinking, it has to be Ross' or 'it's a no brainer its got to be Zack', I love that there are such strong views on both sides", the actor said.

Some people don’t want her to be with either of them. Please just be on your own, you'd be better off! Think that's good. They both offer such different things. With Zack it's so uncomplicated in many ways, barring the sort of ‘we share a sister’ thing. It's fun, it's sexy and with Ross there is history and love and care. I think the audience have responded to that.

A group really don’t like the Zack thing because of the incest side of it, but obviously they’re not related and never knew each other growing up. They never even knew they shared a sister. I think it's sort of alright.

"One thing that cracks me up is that people are always saying it's like a sort of cougar thing! I'm only 3 years older than him so I’m like, 'excuse me I'm not that old!'"

Whoever Vicki chooses, Alice said that both actors are "fantastic" to work with.
