Home and Away spoilers for next week 1 to 5 June 2026

 Coming up on Home and Away, Alf finds himself as the prime suspect after Abigail is the victim of a hit-and-run incident.

Elsewhere, Jo is heartbroken when Tane tells her they're over, Sonny moves back in with Dana, and Cash is convinced that Richie is bad news.

Tane regains consciousness

After almost losing his life, Tane is now strong enough to be brought out of sedation.

David arrives at the hospital with good news – the guard who protected Tane has made a full recovery and Kerrie has pleaded guilty to all charges.

Mackenzie is next to go in and see the patient. She asks her friend if he'll be her baby's godfather and an overjoyed Tane accepts.

Tane dumps Jo

Tane's response towards Jo is not as warm, as he reminds her that she said she didn't want to see him again.

Jo apologises, admitting that she pushed him away through fear, but Tane is unforgiving.

He tells Jo that he'll make this easier for her and calls time on their relationship.

 Alf finally accepts help

Back in the Bay, Alf admits to David that he's putting off visiting the doctor because he's scared they'll find something wrong with him.

Later, Alf talks things through with Sonny, who tells him from experience that life is easier when you accept help from friends.

Taking that advice on board, Alf rebooks his appointment and asks Justin if he can drive him there.

Jo wants Tane back

Mac confronts Tane after hearing about his split with Jo. She wants to know why he ended things, but Levi orders her to leave and let his patient rest.

Back at the Surf Club, Mac is sorry that she can't do more to help, but Lacey urges Jo to fight for her man.

The next morning, Jo arrives at the hospital to find Tane is in the middle of reuniting with Archie and can't bring herself to ruin the moment.

 Harper has her say

Harper is still angry with Tane over going on the run and waits until he's reunited with Archie to unleash her fury.

She rails at Tane for abandoning their son by running from the law and he admits what he did was selfish and stupid.

Tane promises that, from now on, Archie comes first and the exes call a truce.

 Mali and John hatch a secret plan

Sonny is desperate to move back in with Dana and enlists Justin's help to make this a reality.

Meanwhile, Mali hears of Sonny's need for a nearby gym and asks John to help him re-open Summer Bay Fit until Tane is back on his feet.

Tane refuses to give his blessing to the new venture, but Mali and John decide to go ahead regardless and hire a new trainer.

Alf stands up to Roo

Alf is given a clean bill of health and his licence back, which prompts him to arrange a last-minute trip to Merimbula to see Martha.

Leah alerts Roo, who's immediately concerned about the impact a full day's driving will have on her dad.

Roo contacts Martha and gets her to cancel the visit, but that does not go down well with Alf. He calls Roo out for interfering and declares he's off to Merimbula whether she likes it or not!

Sonny wants to help

Dana is worried that Sonny's recovery could be compromised by him moving back in, but he remains adamant.

Wanting to be useful, he offers to help Harper organise a proper first birthday party for Archie.

Harper wants Tane to be there this time, but Sonny and Dana reassure her that they'll wait until he's well again.

Richie causes concern

Levi gives Abigail the third degree over her romance with new police officer Richie. She brushes off his concerns and announces that she's off out with Lacey to Reefton Lakes that evening.

Meanwhile, over at the station, Cash is unsettled about Richie's interest in guns.

He shares his concerns with Levi, who is wary about this man dating his sister. Cash promises to keep an eye on Richie, but points out that he's probably more of a danger to himself than anyone else.

 Abigail falls victim to a hit-and-run

Roo apologises to Alf for stepping in to protect him, and the father and daughter make up.

Alf promises he will give Roo the heads up about any future trips and informs her that he's off fishing down at Banksia Creek early tomorrow.

But as morning arrives, Abigail is brought into the police station from hospital. She's been the victim of a hit-and-run and the vehicle description matches Alf's.

 Alf is under suspicion

Alf is adamant it wasn't his red ute that hit Abigail, but Richie overhears him talking with Roo and is suspicious. The rookie cop tips off David and Cash, who arrive to escort Alf to the station.

Justin can't see any visible damage to Alf's car, but David is forced to request that the keys are handed over so forensics can inspect the vehicle.

After being interrogated by the law, Alf approaches Abigail at the Surf Club for a word. She visibly flinches, making others question whether Alf really did it.

 Cash is not a fan of Richie

Richie continues to rub Cash up the wrong way after he catches him kissing Abigail while on duty.

Later, Richie gets another telling off after Cash realises he's told Abigail that he believes Alf was driving the car that hit her.

Can Richie prove that he's a better cop than Cash thinks he is?

Mac and Levi make a big decision

Mac is excited to tell Levi that she's started to feel the baby kick. Talk then turns to whether they should find out the sex of their unborn child.

After weighing up the options, the couple agree it would be nice to know – and with that, the decision is made.

So will it be a baby boy or girl for Mac and Levi?
