Next week on Hollyoaks, Rex tells a terrible lie about his injuries in a desperate attempt to save his relationship with Ste. Meanwhile, Tony kicks Ant out of the house, and Mercedes discovers a secret about Jenson.

Monday 22 June - Episode 6734

Rex finds the confidence to wear feminine clothes to work at the garage, but Ste is concerned about this and Leela encourages him to be supportive of his husband. Ste has an honest chat with Tony about his feelings, and he eventually suggests that Rex could be experimenting with clothes as revenge for his and James’ betrayal – but Ro overhears this and is quick to confront Ste.

Later, detective Donny chases a suspect, and Rex is accidentally knocked over outside the garage in the process. Ro then finds Rex and tells him about what Ste said about him. When Ste finds Rex with cuts on his face, Rex says it was an accident, but when he notices how concerned his husband is, Rex decides to exaggerate what happened.

 Ro opens up

Tony is struggling to manage The Dog on his own, so Leela steps up and offers to lend him a hand. With all the drama in Ant’s family, Kathleen-Angel tells him that he can come and stay with the McQueens for a while.

Jenson tries to help out Warren during a tough time and offers to look after Sophie, who is finding it difficult to cope with her twin brother’s illness.

When Dodger and Theresa return to the village, they are told about Sebastian’s leukaemia and rush to support Warren.

Theresa shares a theory

Dodger and Theresa are loved up when they come back from their romantic holiday, and Theresa tells her family that she thinks her boyfriend is planning to propose to her.

But Cleo spies a woman’s name on a notification on Dodger’s phone and grows suspicious that he could be hiding something else.

Tuesday 23 June - Episode 6735

Ste cares for Rex

After hearing about Rex’s alleged attack, Ste becomes protective of his husband and Rex enjoys having his support.

But will Ste find out that Rex is lying about the details of the incident?

Ant is kicked out

When Ant misses Eva’s birthday tea at home, Tony is hurt by his son’s absence.

He hands Ant a bag of his clothes, telling him that he is welcome to stay with the McQueens, and the teen is left stunned by his dad’s actions.

Cleo and Theresa clash

Cleo decides to confront Dodger about the woman’s name on his phone, and Dodger is lost for words.

Theresa walks in on this intense conversation, and she is concerned about what is going on. Tensions continue to rise between Cleo and Theresa – could the cousins be at odds over Dodger?

Wednesday 24 June - Episode 6736

Dodger makes a choice

After a dramatic week, Cleo knows exactly what she wants from a situation.

Dodger then makes a big decision about his future, then meets up with his handler from work afterwards. What has Dodger been hiding, and is Cleo involved in some way?

 Mercedes discovers a secret

Mercedes returns to the village and is baffled when she finds Jenson staying with Warren. While Warren reasons that this is only temporary, while Sebastian has treatment, Mercedes insists that his brother is not to be trusted.

Later, Gemma finds Jenson outside the hospital and threatens him into working with her, as she is well aware of the trouble he is fleeing from. But with Mercedes overhearing this conversation, what will she do with this new knowledge about Jenson?

Tony has an idea for Leela

After their argument, Tony wants to make amends with Ant so sends his son an apologetic voice note.

Tony then wants to compensate Leela for her hard work at The Dog and is keen not to take advantage, so he offers to pay her. Will Leela accept payment for her help?
