Hollyoaks to air Dee Dee Hutchinson kiss drama as tragic story escalates

 Maddox is caught up in the chaos.

Hollyoaks’ Dee Dee Hutchinson will try to kiss Maddox Keane next week, as the teen continues to struggle after her mum Diane’s death. As the situation spirals out of control, will anyone be able to give her the help she needs?

Dee Dee has found it difficult to deal with her grief, and recently began taking ketamine with friend Trina, a dangerous coping mechanism that she has returned to as she had visions of her late mum.

There is reason to celebrate in the village next week, with Kathleen-Angel and Maddox preparing to sit their final GCSE exam, and Tony encourages them all to mark the end of school in The Dog later.

However, struggling Dee Dee is running on very little sleep, and she immediately brings the joyous mood down when she arrives.

The teens descend on the pub later to toast the start of summer, but Dee Dee notices the attention Kathleen-Angel is getting and is jealous. She continues to create tension, and when Tony picks her up on her behaviour, she lashes out at her dad.

Kathleen-Angel grows tired of Dee Dee’s attitude towards her, so she takes matters into her own hands and confronts her friend in the toilets.

Meanwhile, outside The Dog, Jonah, Jack and Darren are bonding over football stories, with World Cup fever in full force in the village – but Dee Dee disrupts the good vibes and causes chaos again.

In the aftermath of another dramatic day, at school Dee Dee is called in for a chat with headteacher Nancy, and the teen is blindsided when she finds Tony waiting for her in the office.

Tony later confides in Warren about how much he is struggling to parent Dee Dee, and Warren advises him to do whatever it takes to protect his children.

But Dee Dee is rapidly losing control, and when Maddox finds her spiralling outside, he attempts to help. She misreads the signals though and tries to kiss Maddox, and he pulls away.

Furious Dee Dee strikes out at Maddox in response, and the incident is observed by Beth who takes her son away. Leela arrives and takes Dee Dee back to her flat to calm down, but can Leela get through to her?
