Hollyoaks confirms Cindy and Abigail friendship – and they make shock discovery

 What do they find?

Hollyoaks has confirmed a new friendship for Cindy Cunninham and Abigail Matthews, as the pair make a shocking discovery. It comes after Cindy's recent return to the village, with the character harbouring a baby secret.

Viewers will know that Maddox Keane is actually Cindy's biological child, and she is blackmailing niece Beth after the latter backed out of a past surrogacy agreement, Beth desperate to keep the truth under wraps.

This week more secrets emerged, as Darren learnt from Mandy what happened to Cindy's son Hilton. Meanwhile, Maddox – unaware that Cindy is his mum – had her introduced to him as his "great auntie Cindy".

In new scenes airing next week, Nancy is determined to get to the bottom of why Cindy has returned, deciding to confront her herself after Darren proves useless in giving answers.

Desperate for an escape, Cindy offers to room up with Abigail, though as she's pressured into answers by Nancy and Beth, she can take it no longer and reveals the truth.

How will they react?

Later on, Maddox and Dee Dee start to grow closer, and are ready to take things to the next level. However, their intimacy is interrupted by Cindy and Abigail, who have been bonding and are desperate to get some caffeine, banging on the doors of the closed park kiosk.

Dee Dee speaks to Abigail, while Cindy tunes into her maternal instincts with Maddox. However, Beth watches on, furious.
