EastEnders' Mark stunned by Lauren's shock request in new affair drama

EastEnders is set to air some tense scenes between Lauren Beale and Mark Fowler Jr as the pair navigate their complicated feelings for each other. After being kicked out by Peter, Lauren asked Mark to prove his feelings for her.

In tonight's episode, Peter demanded answers from Lauren about her connection with Mark, with his wife finally coming clean about their dodgy dealings.

Horrified at the prospect of Lauren putting their family life on the line as his dad Ian is already risking prison, Peter resolved to take some time apart from his wife. As he voiced his disappointment in her and stated he could never trust her again, Peter handed Lauren a duffel bag.

A confused Lauren pleaded with him to reconsider, but he insisted that it'd be best for everyone if she went to stay with Penny for a while.

In tomorrow's scenes, Lauren is fully aware that her marriage is hanging by a thread, but continues wrestling with her feelings for Mark. Meanwhile, Peter has a hard time sticking to his decision to take some time away from Lauren, with his mum Cindy helping him through a difficult time.

His grandmother Sheila has been getting close to Chelsea and her son Jordan over the last few weeks, but her long game will be soon revealed as she's confirmed to be in cahoots with Gray.

Next week, Chelsea's world unravels when Sheila waits for her chance to kidnap Jordan. The opportunity presents itself when Kim, who has been entrusted with the boy's care as Chelsea visits Ian in prison, gets distracted and turns her back. With Jack Branning getting police backup to find Jordan and Sheila, will the boy return home safely?
