Home and Away films new baby twist for Mac as key character returns

 A familiar face is returning to Summer Bay.

Home and Away's Mackenzie Booth is set for a shock in a few months as Imogen Fowler makes a big return. The ex-wife of Mac's partner Levi is on her way back to Summer Bay and she won't be coming alone.

Levi and Imogen were husband and wife when the surgeon began an affair with Mac which led to the break-up of their marriage. Imogen eventually left Summer Bay and Mac and Levi continued their relationship.

But over the past few years the couple have endured their fare share of heartbreak, having experienced the loss of a baby twice. Back in May the soap aired devastating scenes as Mac suffered her second miscarriage after going through IVF treatment.

Now Imogen is reportedly heading back and actress Georgia Blizzard has been seen filming scenes with a young girl.

Back to the Bay reports that YouTubers R&F Adventures 2.0 captured Blizzard and the child filming on the beach with Levi actor Tristan Gorey. The girl is said to be around two which means she's the perfect age to have been Levi's, if Imogen left before telling him she was pregnant.

The scenes are expected to air early next year.

If the child is Levi's, the news that her partner is a father will surely only cause more heartbreak for Mac.

Emily Weir, who plays Mac, previously spoke about her and Gorey's commitment to treating Mac and Levi's experience with baby loss with care and respect for fans who have gone through the same in real life.

"Tristan and I are committed to embodying the truth of these heart-wrenching scenes, as many of our viewers know the experience well," she explained. "We always want to dig deep and do our best — which, as creatives, makes the work worthwhile."
