Hollyoaks announces Sienna Blake's return story after four-month absence

 

Hollyoaks has announced Sienna Blake's return story after a four-month absence. Sienna exited the soap back in May after being sent to prison for the murder of Clare Devine last month, following weeks of making her partner Cleo McQueen think she had committed the crime.

On Tuesday (8 September), Sienna returns home from prison, only to be shocked to find James alive and well, living in her flat.

Sienna confirms that the case against her has been dropped as they failed to find Clare’s body, and Sienna gives James notice to leave her property.

In the village, Mercedes is horrified when she sees Sienna is back after she gaslit her cousin Cleo and endangered her life.

Mercedes soon voices her opinion, lays into Sienna, and when Cleo arrives, warns her to stay away.

At Casa McQueen, where Mercedes has started a sustainable baby-clothes business, Cleo is reeling at the sight of Sienna. When left alone, Dodger, who is having an affair with Cleo despite being with her other cousin, Theresa McQueen, locks up to steal time with Cleo.

Later, a resident pries through the window at Casa McQueen and spying Dodger and Cleo, takes a picture - is it Sienna or someone else?

In scenes set to air on Wednesday 9 September, Sienna tells James she fears Ste has overdosed or been in an accident and James breaks down over missing Ste.

Viewers will be delighted to see Sienna back - but the same can't be said for many of the villagers! Mercedes reckons that Sienna's mistreatment of Cleo was unforgivable, while Cleo is also unsettled to see her ex back," our Hollyoaks insider said.

They added: "It'll also surely be much harder for Cleo and Dodger to hide their affair now Sienna is back - she has a strong history when it comes to sniffing out a secret!"

"Hopefully that will also come in handy when it comes to investigating Ste's disappearance, as the villagers will need all the help they can get to solve that mystery."
