The Tane Parata actor said he's been worried "from a young age".
Home and Away star Ethan Browne has opened up about his constant worrying over his family, explaining it's something he's been experiencing since he was a child.
Appearing on The Martin Show with Zak Martin, the Tane Parata actor has reflected on having a more anxious childhood compared to some other kids as he "always" worried about his loved ones.
"I worried a lot, from a young age," he began, saying that he'd "wait out" for his mum while she'd gone to the supermarket.
"I've always been like that," he added. "I've always worried about people. I've always wanted people to be okay and good and safe."
Investigating the reasons behind his pressing concerns about his family members, the soap star said that his parents' separation could've played a part.
"I don't know why, man, maybe before I could remember I experienced something... I don't know, even my parents' split [could be the reason]," he said, adding that perhaps he "felt the need to care for [his] mum emotionally".
"I've always worried about my mum, my dad and my siblings if they were happy. And I still do, to this day," he concluded. "It's an unnecessary worry, you know."
Earlier this month, Browne shared a sweet tribute to his daughter Aaylah to mark her 18th birthday.
The actor, who had Aaylah when he was a teenager, wrote in an Instagram post: "Becoming a father at 16 wasn’t expected, but the moment I held you in my arms, everything made sense."
"You changed my perception of love forever. You gave me the drive to grow up, work hard, and be the best dad I could be."
