Anna Constable may have only joined EastEnders in August, but the actor has already landed a new role away from the BBC soap. And for fans, it's a very quick turnaround, as the "bold" new project airs tonight!
The star, who plays Jodie Hawkins on the soap, is part of the creative team for The Experiment, a brand-new documentary from Channel 4 that has been conceived by Mat Fraser and Sophie Morgan.
The one-off programme, which airs at 10pm tonight, takes place within SegriLife House, a new - and fictional - residential facility that appears to offer a radical model of supported living for people with disabilities.

Fraser and Morgan analysed the systemic killing of disabled people by Nazi Germany during World War II, with the idea behind the documentary being to examine whether "dangerous ideas can be repackaged and made to appear acceptable".
Constable, who has Noonan syndrome, confirmed her involvement in the documentary with a post on Instagram, with the actor saying that it was a project that she had "been keeping quiet about".
"Last year, before I started filming @bbceastenders, I filmed something very different… and now it’s finally coming to TV!" she wrote, before adding that she was "excited" for viewers to watch it.
Speaking about the documentary, Fraser and Morgan said: "It was important for us to finally bring the catastrophic history of Aktion T4 and the Nazis' persecution of disabled people to our television screens.
"But more importantly we wanted to test whether the British public could be persuaded by similar propaganda today – to believe that disabled people are disposable, or less deserving of a place in society."
Through the fantastic dedication of our disabled actors and the production team who brought the disturbing world of SegriLife to life, we were able to put that question to the test," they added, calling it "essential viewing".
Billed as an "urgent interrogation of the present", the programme "explores how language around productivity, dependency and public cost can shape perceptions of disabled people and the value placed on their lives."
