Hollyoaks confirms Sienna's new role in Ste story as the truth is revealed

 Will she get answers?

Hollyoaks has revealed the role that Sienna Blake will play in Ste Hay’s disappearance story, as she makes a major discovery during a huge week of episodes.

The village is still worried about what has happened to missing Ste, but viewers know that he is currently being held captive by Imran, in a twisted scheme that has spiralled out of control.

Imran and Cindy, who enjoyed a brief romance in America, cooked up a revenge plot and set up Ste’s kidnapping before framing James for the serious crime. Cindy later backed out of the plan so Imran continued alone, even recruiting Lucas to help with his dad’s kidnap.

One of the village residents desperately trying to find Ste is his close friend Sienna, and new spoilers reveal that next week, she finally gets to the truth about what has happened to him.

This situation comes about when Sienna walks in on a conversation between Cindy and Lucas, who both know all too well about what’s going on as they are attempting to put things right.

Sienna hears too much so Cindy and Lucas have no choice but to let her in on the truth, and they show her a map belonging to Imran that Cindy took a picture of after finding it in the houseboat.

Whether this development takes us any closer to finding Ste remains to be seen, but Steph Waring, who plays Cindy, exclusively told us at Inside Soap that her character will team up with Sienna to get answers.

We’re like Cagney and Lacey!" she laughs. "Cindy and Sienna have never really worked together much before, and I’ve had quite a few scenes with Anna Passey now.

"I really love the contrasting characters. Sienna’s eloquent and put together – and she’s bonkers! I just love how opposite they are, but it somehow works."

These scenes take place ahead of a massive event that sends shockwaves around the village next week, leaving some residents completely stunned.

While Lucas rushes to the police station to tell Donny the truth about Imran, Cindy tracks down her ex-lover and urges him to come clean about his wrongdoing.

Cindy also faces some big questions from the police herself in the aftermath, but what happens to trigger this game-changing chain of events?
