Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter launching big new project away from the soap

Hollyoaks' Jorgie Porter has unveiled her new project. The soap star is best known for her role as Theresa McQueen, but now, she's growing her brand outside of the show.

On Instagram, she shared a picture of her new business, a beauty salon named Porter's Parlour, writing in the caption: "Coming soon..."

She also shared a little bit more on her Instagram Story, as she wrote: "Something very exciting is happening.. I can’t wait to share it with you."

The business's Instagram page further reveals that they offer brow, lashes, and nail treatments, as well as their price list and location.

In another post, it exclaimed that they were embarking on a "new chapter", adding: "With the previous owner moving on to her own new space, an exciting opportunity came our way, and we couldn’t say no.

We’re SO excited to finally introduce to you: PORTER’S PARLOUR. Brand new look, fresh start and some BIG plans ahead. All appointments will continue as normal and you’ll still find us where we usually are, just under a new salon owner and salon!

Porter first joined Hollyoaks in 2008, later rejoining the cast in 2020, and her character has been in some pretty dramatic storylines.

She has been in an incredibly complicated relationship with Dodger Savage, which came to a rather abrupt end as she revealed that she hadn't been taking her contraceptive pill for a few months.

Dodger then used this opportunity to break up with her and not mention his affair with Cleo, leaving Theresa in tears.

However, a special scene filmed in Chester has Theresa along with other characters at the forefront of an incredibly dramatic moment signalling the return of Ste, whose disappearance has been a great source of mystery.
