Home and Away's Cash Newman to give Eden Fowler a surprising ultimatum

 Eden's friendship with Remi causes another row between the couple.

Home and Away's Cash Newman will present his girlfriend Eden Fowler with an unexpected ultimatum next week, as Eden's friendship with Remi Carter plays on Cash's mind.

Scenes airing on Channel 5 in the UK will see Cash and Eden return from some time away together, with their relationship seemingly back on track following the fallout from Eden's recent engagement prank.

However, it looks like their romance could be heading for shaky ground again when Eden's best friend Remi starts to steal Eden's attention.

As Cash watches the close friends and Lyrik bandmates happily reunite, he can't help but feel a twinge of discomfort as he wonders whether Remi and Eden might be a little too close...

Cash's fears only grow when he walks in on Eden sitting in Remi's lap, laughing with him. Cash quickly turns frosty, as he makes it clear that he is definitely not okay with the situation.

Feeling desperate for the two most important men in her life to get along, Eden orders Remi to go and apologise to Cash immediately for upsetting him. Remi, however, is unimpressed by her demand, and Eden finds herself further caught between her warring boyfriend and best friend.

Remi later offers an apology to Cash, but his words don't go down well with the police officer, and Cash makes it very clear what he's after – he wants to see less physical intimacy between Eden and Remi.

Remi is affronted, believing that Cash has no right to impose any terms on his close and longstanding friendship with Eden.

Eden is left desperately trying to find a compromise between the men as they remain at loggerheads, but Remi refuses to have any involvement, believing that Cash's insecurity about his relationship is his own problem to handle.

Eden then turns to Cash to make amends, promising him that she will create some boundaries with Remi around physicality. However, she adds that her friendship with Remi is second to none and that she will never give it up for anyone.

Could Eden's friendship with Remi prove to be a breaking point for her and Cash's relationship?

Remi has been facing his own relationship issues with Bree Cameron, after her unexpected pregnancy discovery recently caused her to push Remi away out of fear in another hurdle in their on and off romance.
