Home and Away’s Eliza Sherwood to turn violent again in terrifying scenes
Marilyn spots Eliza's concerning behaviour, but will she tell Roo?
Home and Away is set to air new distressing scenes for Eliza Sherwood.
In scenes airing next week, Roo Stewart insists Eliza should socialise with people her age and gives her a choice. She could return to the youth programme or go to school.
Faced with Roo's ultimatum, Eliza opts for what she thinks being the lesser of two evils and decides to continue the youth program.
Meanwhile, Mali Hudson watches as Tane Parata tries his best to connect with Eliza, and later admits to Abigail that he suspects Roo's foster child needs professional help. Abigail gets defensive, worried that Mali sees Eliza as a screw up because she messed up once.
Later on, Roo's proud of Eliza for going back to the youth program and gifts her a phone.
In the programme, Eliza bonds with Scott, who she previously hit, but turns violent again when he takes her new phone to try and put his number in it. Furious and defensive, Eliza smashes the nearest sauce bottle, waving the broken glass close to Scott's neck as she demands he give her back the phone.
Eliza shows no remorse for her dangerous actions, stirring concern within Tane.
At home, Marilyn Chambers is concerned about Eliza's behaviour. When she's back, Roo has a chat with her foster daughter to get her to explain what went down with Scott.
As Eliza doesn't seem to regret her actions, Roo asks Cash Newman to come over and give her an idea of what the consequences of her attack could end up being. But, at the sight of a police officer, Eliza bolts upstairs.
Cash does some unofficial research to find out more about Eliza, discovering she was forcibly removed from her family and suffered the traumatic loss of her grandmother. Roo shares with her what she knows and they embrace.
Over Roo's shoulder though, Marilyn looks at Eliza's expression as it shifts and turns into a smile. Is Eliza playing Roo and, if so, to what end?
