Home and Away's Eliza to clash with Summer Bay legend
Who will become Eliza's next target?
Home and Away's Eliza Sherwood will clash with a Summer Bay legend as her worrying behaviour continues to escalate.
Recent weeks have seen the troubled teen displaying a strange obsession with death and violence, a fascination which has left Marilyn Chambers fearing for her safety. Though Marilyn raised her concerns with Roo Stewart, the latter decided to give Eliza the benefit of the doubt.
In next week's episodes, Alf returns to the Bay and is quick to notice something is not quite right with Marilyn. She tells him that she has been staying with Irene, reasoning that she has felt unsafe around Eliza.
An irritated Alf confronts Roo about her foster daughter's behaviour, and she admits that Eliza had previously threatened a boy with a broken bottle. She also reveals that the teen has been stealing items, with Alf's knife being swiped.
Roo tries to make amends with her friend, but her apology backfires when Marilyn tells her to call the department about Eliza. Roo angrily refuses, prompting Marilyn to take control of the situation.
However, Marilyn receives a cold reception as she moves back home, with Roo claiming that Marilyn is only returning so she can call the shots in the house. Meanwhile, Alf is also unsure if Marilyn made the right decision, but she explains that she is worried about him too.
"Marilyn is still very wary around Eliza, but she's starting to think more carefully about Roo and Alf's welfare too," explains our Home and Away insider. "As she's seemingly the only person who can see how dangerous Eliza is, she reckons it'd be better for her to return home so she can keep a close eye on things."
Later, Eliza arrives and apologises to Alf for her behaviour, assuring him it won't happen again. Alf is unconvinced and puts his foot down, telling the teen that she's grounded and has to help him at both the bait shop and the Surf Club.
A rebellious Eliza leaves halfway through her punishment, with Alf later confronting her at home. Roo, however, continues to back Eliza through thick and thin, telling Alf he is being too harsh.
"Alf is a tough taskmaster and won't take any nonsense," adds our insider. "He thinks Roo is a soft touch around Eliza and that the troublesome teen needs stronger discipline. But is he making himself a target for Eliza's next round of creepy behaviour?"
