EastEnders’ Oscar Branning and Josh Goodwin have been embarking on a new romance this week, but they’ve now realised that they share a secret connection that changes everything. Oscar has been unaware that Josh is the twin brother of his ex-girlfriend Jasmine Fisher, but this bombshell is exposed in dramatic fashion…

The Slaters and the Truemans hosted a lunch in The Vic this week to welcome Josh to their families, but the day took a turn when Josh explained that his call to his sister was answered several weeks ago – which meant that someone had taken her phone.

Facing huge pressure from Max, Cindy tried to plant the mobile back in The Vic without anyone noticing. But the device fell on the floor, and everyone found out that she was the culprit.

Kat, Zoe and Oscar reeled from this discovery in today’s episode, and Alfie kicked Cindy out the pub before Kat lost her temper. Oscar unlocked Jasmine’s phone and everyone watched the important footage of Anthony’s death.

After uncovering this new evidence, Zoe was determined for Jasmine not to plead guilty and upset Patrick when she told him she was taking the video to the police. But Kat wasn’t fully convinced, later confiding in Alfie that she didn’t think the footage proved anything about Jasmine.

Josh watched the video and was relieved that his sister wasn’t a "cold-blooded killer", agreeing to start over and go for a drink with Zoe. When he returned to the pub, he saw Oscar – having forgot about the date they had arranged.

However, Kat then told Oscar that Ritchie had arranged a special prison visit to Jasmine, and they wanted him to step up and go. As Oscar was rushed out of the pub, he and Josh were completely stunned to finally discover each other’s identity.

At the prison, Oscar apologised to Jasmine for not believing her sooner and Jasmine explained that she might have to go on trial for Anthony’s death. Jasmine asked about Josh and Oscar pretended that he’d only met him briefly.

With Oscar concealing the truth about his relationship with Josh, Jasmine asked him for another chance. The pair passionately kissed and agreed to start over with a clean slate.

Back in Walford, Oscar bumped into Josh and explained his connection to Jasmine – and that they were giving their relationship another shot. But as they walked away from one another, it was clear that there was still a spark between Oscar and Josh.
