Home and Away's Lacey and David to face curveball in mystery robberies story

 They make a surprise discovery.

Home and Away sets up another mystery this week, as Summer Bay is targeted by a string of robberies by an unknown thief. It isn't long before Lacey Miller becomes one of the victims, with her dad Sergeant David Langham leaping into action.

But will they find the culprit before they strike again?

According to TVWeek, upcoming episodes will see a sudden crime wave in the Bay as the police receive reports of multiple car break-ins in the local area. The officers focus their energy on locating the thief, but struggle to gather any useful evidence.

Meanwhile, Lacey works overtime at the gym, picking up the slack while Tane Parata recovers from his recent attack in jail.

As she heads to work alone in the morning, she is horrified to discover the doors open and noises coming from inside.

Lacey immediately calls her dad for help and he rushes over to apprehend the intruder, hoping the recent robberies will finally be put to an end.

However, when he storms in, he is shocked to discover who is lurking in the gym. Is this really the person behind the break-ins? And if not, what exactly do they want?

Elsewhere, David has another pressing concern to deal with inside the force, as he notices new recruit Richie acting strangely. Despite initially being impressed by Richie's enthusiasm, David soon becomes worried about his keen interest in guns.

The sergeant decides to keep an eye on the rookie to ensure the situation doesn't escalate. Could it be a harmless interest or does it indicate something more sinister?
