Richie wants to be mates with Cash
Conversation at the table is awkward until Richie tells Cash the story of why he wanted to become a police officer.
The next morning, Richie is confident that he's won his colleague over, but Cash pleads with David not to put them on any more shifts together.
Alf makes a life-changing decision
But just as Alf starts to fear he's losing his marbles, David arrives to say forensics have cleared his vehicle, but the case is still open.
Distressed that he's still not been cleared, Alf hands his car keys to Justin and declares that his driving days are done.
Remi's song is a hit
Remi is unsure how much of his personal health battle he wants to be exposed, but Justin thinks he should go for it.
Taking Justin's advice on board, Remi tells Eden they should release the track straight away.
Alf refuses to budge
When an invite comes through for Archie's first birthday party, Alf gruffly refuses to attend and Leah is forced to break the news to Harper.
Tane is hopeful for the future
Hearing about Archie's birthday celebrations helps lift Tane's spirits as he tells Mac that he feared his life was over.
The party is a huge success and Tane thanks Harper for giving him the chance to share their son's special milestone.
Lacey is angry with Tane
Mali agrees it's the right thing and leaves Lacey in charge as he heads out. However, Lacey isn't happy with the idea of working for the man who just broke her sister's heart.
She vents her frustrations to John, who later warns Mali that Lacey could quit.
Sonny is in a hurry
John and Dana think Sonny needs to pace himself, but Sonny is desperate to speed up his recovery process.
Later in the week, a defiant Sonny arrives at the gym on crutches and declares that he's becoming a member of Summer Bay Fit.
Lacey has a change of heart
With the future of the business under threat, Leah appeals to Lacey, suggesting the gym is a place for everyone.
Inspired by Leah's words, Lacey decides to embrace the community spirit and agrees to return to work.
Alf piles the pressure on David
Roo is suspicious of her dad's behaviour, which only makes Alf angrier and prompts him to put more pressure on David to find the guilty party.
Sonny gets barred from the gym
Remi can see his friend is pushing himself too hard, but Sonny refuses to listen to reason.
In the end John is forced to intervene and tells Sonny he's got no other choice but to terminate his membership for now.
David is under attack from Leah
After hearing about David's dismissive attitude towards Alf, Leah has a go at the police officer.
David takes offence and decides he'll go somewhere else for his coffee, but Marilyn stands up for him and tells Leah she was too harsh.
Alf has a tough choice to make
David says sorry to Alf and explains he has the right to file a complaint with the Conduct Commission.
This leaves Alf with a dilemma. Will he swallow his pride and let things lie or is David going to face an internal investigation?
