EastEnders confirms Priya pregnancy twist as major new mystery kicks off

EastEnders has confirmed that Priya Nandra-Hart will discover she is pregnant in upcoming scenes, and she is desperate to find out whether Ravi Gulati or Max Branning is the father of her unborn baby!

This week, she teams up with Jean to try to sneakily obtain DNA samples from both men, but can they get away with it?

Having realised she’s expecting, Priya quickly realises that she needs to order a paternity test so that she can figure out whether the dad is Ravi or Max. But there’s one small problem – neither man can know what she’s up to!

"To go ahead with a paternity test, Priya needs DNA samples from both potential dads," explains our EastEnders insider. "But telling the truth about being pregnant, let alone her baby daddy crisis, simply isn’t an option for her right now.

Jean’s the only person who knows that Priya and Max have been having an affair behind closed doors, so she’s the only one Priya can turn to for help!"

Subsequently, Priya and Jean take a trip to the community centre, where a donor drive is being held to try to find a stem cell match for Denise.

Hoping to go under the radar, Priya and Jean do their best to nick specimens from Ravi and Max. Can they pull it off without the two men suspecting anything unusual?

Later in the week, Priya and Ravi share a cosy moment together as they confirm their love for each other, as well as their commitment to the future they have planned out.

"Ravi doesn’t have a clue that Priya is hiding something so huge from him," reveals our snoop. "They look so smitten when they reaffirm their love for each other, but who knows how long Priya can keep her secret under wraps?

"She’s handled some dicey situations in the past, but guilt is a powerful emotion. It feels as though her baby news is a ticking time bomb waiting to blow up…"

Will Priya uncover whether Ravi or Max is the father of her child? And if it turns out to be Max, will she be forced to come clean?
