"That might spoil the gig a little bit...".
The stars at the centre of the Home and Away Levi storyline have addressed the shocking events. The soap is currently on a break in Australia until next week, though scenes ahead of the pause saw things left on a cliffhanger (literally) for the character.
The plot kicked off with Cash Newman winning an adventure park package at the Summer Bay Surf Club fundraiser, after which he decided to take Tane Parata, Mali Hudson and Levi on a boys' trip.
Appearing on Sunrise, stars Nicholas Cartwright (Cash), Kyle Shilling (Mali) and Tristan Gorey (Levi) were asked about the plot… though there was one problem – they couldn't give away much.
"I can't say what happens, because that might spoil the gig a little bit," Nicholas admitted, before quipping: "The catch is always getting involved in one of these things, I think I'm one of the cheapest actors to bring on the away trips!"
However, he did praise the crew's work on the outdoor shoot, recalling: "This is one of the best shoots we've ever shot from a technical standpoint.
To get the crew out to shoot at the speed we shoot on a real cliff came with a whole lot of different challenges, and this is one of the most ambitious ones we've ever put up on screen, just from the way that we shot this and the speed that we shot this content on a real cliff.
"I was insanely proud of the crew, and I think we really stepped it up a notch on this story, which was great."
At the end of the chat, one of the presenters joked that the trio had "done very well in giving nothing away".
Will Levi survive? Australia-based fans will have to wait until this Monday to see what happens.
