EastEnders reveals major Zoe and Kat fight as shock exit scenes approach

 Can they make amends?

EastEnders’ Zoe Slater is finally back in Walford next week, but it’s not long before she is involved in a big fight with her mum Kat!

After Zoe brings fresh trouble to The Vic, old wounds reopen as mother and daughter fight in front of the family. But can Alfie convince Kat to put things right?

Kat always wishes for harmony with Zoe but never gets it!" points out our EastEnders source.

"In many ways, Zoe’s never grown up. But her impulsive behaviour is pure Slater, and Kat should realise she’s just a chip of the old block. Can they smooth things over?"

vKat’s thrilled to have Zoe and Tommy back home from Lynne’s, but before long she starts to notice that her son’s still wary about having Joel in the Square. Just as Kat thinks she’s managed to reassure him, though, Tommy disappears with a bottle of vodka…

Deciding to skip Kim’s wedding, Kat spends some quality time with Zoe and proves her loyalty by asking the Truemans to welcome Jasmine into the family.

When Zoe reveals she’s found the black cab that used to belong to their dad Charlie up for sale, she begs Kat to go with her so she can buy it. Kat agrees, until she gets word of Tommy’s drinking and goes on a hunt for her vulnerable son instead.

Zoe is forced to go and buy the cab on her own," explains our insider. "Kat prioritises Tommy, leaving irresponsible Zoe in charge of buying the cab. Soon an argument breaks out with the seller, so she steals the taxi and drives off with it!"

Back at the pub, Kat’s fuming to discover Zoe has stolen the vehicle, and things get even worse when the seller arrives demanding money and threatens to call the police! Zoe then finds herself in a full-blown row with Kat in front of the whole pub.

Kat has to paint on a brave face as Kim’s wedding party arrives," says our source. "But inside she’s devastated that her happy reunion with her kids has ended in yet another bust-up. Alfie encourages her to speak to Zoe, but can she find the right words?"

One new picture shows a tender moment between the pair, so it’s safe to say Kat reaches a breakthrough. However, with Zoe exiting Walford for good, might this be one of Kat’s last opportunities to tell Zoe how she really feels about her?
