Meanwhile, Ned also blackmails Mark and Lauren, while Kat and Alfie's future hangs in the balance amid a huge argument.

Read on for 11 big moments coming up. You can also check out our collection of 31 spoiler pictures from these episodes.

Ned puts pressure on Ryder

One of Ryder's old football coaches wants him to return to the sport – and pushy Ned is all for the idea.

Ryder is reluctant and confides in Nicola about one of his former teammates, who faced a tough time after coming out as gay. He also chats about the guy he's been seeing recently – and how uneasy he feels about Ned's growing efforts to influence his life.

Ryder is overheard at the wrong moment

Nicola is adamant that Ryder should be honest with the whole family, so he decides to start by telling his mum the truth about his sexuality.

However, when Ned overhears Ryder asking to speak to Gemma later, will he stand in the way?

Mark and Lauren are caught out

Mark and Lauren meet up in No.31 for a secret rendezvous, but they panic when they realise that someone else was in the house.

Ned soon reveals to Mark that he's the person in question. Wasting no time, Ned uses his leverage to demand a favour.

Ned uses Mark as a pawn

Ned makes his demand to Mark, who's utterly shocked by what he has in mind. Mark feels trapped as Ned reminds him of the dire consequences he'll face if the truth comes out.

As Ned then distracts himself with trying to manipulate Ryder, Mark meets up with Lauren. Scared that somebody knows their secret, Lauren urges Mark to do whatever it takes to salvage the situation. Reluctantly, Mark complies with Ned's request, but soon feels guilty about it.

Amy is at a crossroads

When Amy visits her in hospital, Denise encourages the teen to concentrate on her studies rather than getting in too deep with her mystery new boyfriend.

With Craig constantly demanding her attention, though, this proves much easier said than done.

Craig is angered by a discovery

Amy invites Lily to come along and see Craig's flat, but when Lily tells Ricky where she's going, word spreads among the teen group and they all turn up.

Later, Craig is furious when he finds evidence that Amy's friends were at the flat.

Jack's concerns for Amy grow

Jack worries when he learns that Amy has been skipping classes. Phil encourages him to speak to his daughter rather than avoiding the issue.

When Jack seeks out Amy for a heart-to-heart, she lets him believe that Denise's illness is the reason she's acting out. Jack recruits Penny to find out more, but Amy shuts her out.

Craig fears he has a rival

Concerned after finding Denzel's ID at the flat, Craig urges Amy to hand over her phone to prove that she's loyal to him. Amy hands it over and Craig quickly finds a shirtless photo that Denzel sent.

Although Craig accepts Amy's explanation, he privately decides that Denzel is his new enemy…

 Nancy reconnects with Zack

Nancy remains annoyed that Linda is meddling in her personal life.

Fortunately, her mood improves when she runs into Zack and they decide to go for a drink at The Vic together.

 Kat spirals out of control

Kat is still struggling following Zoe's death. Jean tries to lift her spirits with some flowers that remind Kat of Zoe, but it doesn't work.

When Kat suffers a drunken breakdown out in public, Phil steps in to help and takes her back to the pub. Sadly, her downward spiral continues once she's back home.

Kat and Alfie's future hangs in the balance

An argument erupts between Kat and Alfie as emotions run high.

The couple's relationship hangs in the balance – can they get through this?
