Home and Away star Adam Rowland announces heartwarming baby news

 "Welcome to the world."

Home and Away actor Adam Rowland has announced the heartwarming news that he and fiancée Olivia Lewis have welcomed their first baby together. The couple announced their engagement back in January and shared they were expecting a child back in June. Now, they've confirmed that they're proud parents of a little boy.

Adam shared a black and white photo to his Instagram of the newborn grabbing his finger.

Welcome to the world son," the Remi Carter actor wrote in the caption.

Multiple Home and Away co-stars responded in the comments, with Maddison Brown (who plays Jo Langham) writing: "DADDY DAY CARE CLUB!"

Congratulations to you both. Just beautiful," wrote Georgie Parker (aka Roo Stewart), while Ryan Bown (who plays Sonny Baldwin) said: "Beautiful buddy."

Looking ahead to next week's episodes of Home and Away, Rowland's character Remi is keeping a close eye on Sonny, much to the latter's ire.

Justin Morgan takes Remi out for a dinner and convinces him to leave Sonny be and put his focus into Eden instead. Remi agrees and backs off, and Sonny realises that it's his time to be there for his friend.

Other scenes airing next week include Cash seeking out an online aplastic anaemia support group, Marilyn saying her heartbreaking goodbyes to Zayn as he prepares to go to prison, and Richie declaring his love for Abigail.
