Hollyoaks airs harrowing Dee Dee scenes as dangerous new storyline begins

 She struggles to cope after Diane's funeral.

Hollyoaks has aired some harrowing scenes for Dee Dee Hutchinson following the events of Diane's tragic funeral yesterday, where the youngster caught dad Tony trying to kiss Leela Lomax.

Before her sad death, Diane had been trying to set Tony up with Leela, thinking she'd be a great mum for the kids. When Dee Dee learned about it from one of Diane's letters, she couldn't cope and kicked off at the funeral — and seeing the kiss later on only made things worse.

At the start of tonight's episode, Tony apologised to Leela, who told him not to stress about it. They agreed that it wouldn't make things weird between them and that no-one had to know.

However, Dee Dee continued on her angry streak, spraying graffiti on Leela's door and having a go at her over the kiss in the village square.

Leela tried to smooth things over and remind her that they are family, only for Dee Dee to spit venom in her face.

"You are nothing to me, you hear? I am Diane Hutchinson's daughter. I don't care about you. I don't care about your dead sister", she sneered. "Just stay away from me, and stay away from my dad too."

Ro and Ant overheard the confrontation and went to have a word with Tony, while Dee Dee got drunk in the park off a bottle of stolen wine.

Trina turned up and offered Dee Dee a bag of ketamine, telling her that it will help her forget about Diane's death.

After some convincing, she eventually took the drug in the park. She started to have a strong reaction, and broke down in tears as she believed that she could see Diane.

"Mum, I miss you so much. I didn't mean it. I didn't mean what I said. I love you. I love you so much. Please tell me you love me too. Please", she begged as she looked at an out-of-focus figure who blurred in and out of reality.

Trina dragged her to The Dog with the help of Maddox Keane, where Tony took hold of her.

Will her out-of-body experience cause her to calm down her behaviour, or will she continue to take ketamine to try and 'see' Diane again? Well, if you've read the spoilers...
